Question: whats wrong with my shifter and transmission
today i was driving and had a nice long stretch of road while i was at a red light, so, i gave it some gas in first gear and noticed the shift knob pulling my hand to the right while the was a strange scraping sound from under me. i looked it up and the only thing other than a whole transmission repair i could find was that i just need new bushings. the sound is only in first gear and the shifter pulling my hand to the right stops happening after 2nd gear, 3 4 5 6 are perfectly fine no noise or pulling. also my shifter does seem like there is alot of play when im in gear.
